Lakeside Regional Church members sponsor approximately 35 Compassion children. Their tax deductible contribution of just $38 a month connects a child living in poverty with a loving , church based program that provides:
- Medical Checkups.
- Nutritious Food.
- Health and Hygiene Training.
- Educational Assistance.
- Access to special services like Surgeries and Disaster Relief.
- Mentoring – to help children discover their incredible value as God’s children.
- And most important opportunities to hear about Jesus Christ along with encouragement to develop a life long relationship with God.
Sponsors are encouraged to frequently communicate with their child through one on one correspondence to develop a deep and lasting relationship. Every Spring Lakeside Regional Church has a Compassion Sunday Service to support our current sponsors and to recruit additional people willing to be a part of releasing children from poverty and bringing hope into their lives.
