Pastor Alfred “Skip” & Janet Trembley

Skip (Alfred) Trembley has been a believer since November of 1972 and held ministry credentials since 1976 with the Assemblies of God. In the summer of 2001, he began working with the Hague Wesleyan Church when invited by Pastor Rusty Bissell to hold an early morning contemporary service. He has been on loan from the A/G since 2005.

Skip is currently the senior pastor of the Hague Wesleyan Church. Throughout his ministry he has served as Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor, youth pastor, men’s ministry director, and conference director.

In the last few years God has led the Hague Wesleyan Church to become more actively involved in missions. As a result, they have built 3 churches in Haiti, sent individuals or teams to Sierra Leon, Jamaica, China, Africa, and the Dominican Republic. In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, Hague made 18 trips to Mississippi in to assist in rebuilding homes. These trips to the Gulf Coast brought together over 120 different people and involved several churches.

Following their experience with Katrina, Skip and his wife, Janet, became Chaplains with the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team, and were sent to Cedar Rapids, Iowa to provide crisis counseling to those affected by the devastating floods.

Skip is motivated to see the local church bring the hope and love of God into the lives and crisis of people around the world. Not all neighbors are next door.
